Photo Compotion-Rule of Thirds

This PNG photo would be considered lossless meaning that the image losses less pixels and needed data. This photo shows the composition "rule of thirds". The photographer has placed the subject on two of the imaginary dots and has created symetry and depth to the photo.

Photo Composition-Proportion

This JPEG image would be considered lossly in that needed pixels have been taken out or compressed. This  is an example of photo proportion. The image places the model within the direct middle of the viewers eye filling the frame completely.

Photo Composition Leading Lines

This JPEG image would be considered lossly in that needed pixels have been taken out or compressed. This image shows how the "leading lines" technique is used. This technique draws the viewers eye from point A-forefront fo the image to point B-the background of the image.

Good and Bad Application of basic principles (Balanced)

I feel that the GQ banner displays a very good example of a balanced image. The letters GQ lie on the center of the x and y axis of the page and this allows for easy viewing and great balance. The small fonts that read "look sharp, Live smart" define the center point and positively adds to the image.

This image is a bad example of a balanced image. There are too many fonts and the font that stands out the most is slanted. It makes the viewer feel confused and it unsure of where to look.
